Discografi AC/DC

AC/DC are an Australian rock band, formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Although the band are commonly classified as hard rock and are considered a pioneer of heavy metal, they have always classified their music as rock and roll.
AC/DC underwent several line-up changes before releasing their first album, High Voltage, in 1975. Membership remained stable until bassist Mark Evans was replaced by Cliff Williams in 1977 for the album Powerage. Within months of recording the album Highway to Hell, lead singer and co-songwriter Bon Scott died on 19 February 1980, after a night of heavy alcohol consumption. The group briefly considered disbanding, but soon ex-Geordie singer Brian Johnson was selected to replace Scott. Later that year, the band released their highest selling album, Back in Black.

AC/DC - Iron Man 2 [2010]

Soundtrack by AC/DC

Iron Man 2 is an album by hard rock band AC/DC, released 19 April 2010 as the soundtrack to Jon Favreau's Iron Man 2. The album was announced on 26 January 2010 and is seen as being used in the same sense as Who Made Who was for Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive, not a greatest hits collection but a compilation album which contains both hits and lesser known tracks. Unlike Who Made Who, however, there are no new songs. Co-Chairman of Columbia Records, Steve Barnett said "Jon Favreau's vision and passion for AC/DC's music blend seamlessly into this incredible film; the music really underscores the high energy and excitement of the film." The album features an almost half-and-half mix of songs from both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras of AC/DC.

AC/DC - Who Made Who [1986]

Soundtrack by AC/DC

Who Made Who is a hard rock album by Australian band AC/DC, released in 1986 as the soundtrack to the Stephen King movie Maximum Overdrive. King would allude to the album's title song in the 1990 revised and expanded edition of his novel The Stand, where a survivor of the novel's flu pandemic changes the lyrics to "Flu made who." Three tracks on the album — "Who Made Who" and the instrumentals "D.T." and "Chase the Ace" — were newly written and recorded by AC/DC. The rest were taken from the band's previous albums. Only one song, "Ride On," is from the Bon Scott era; all of the others feature Brian Johnson. The album reached #11 in the UK and #33 in the US, and has sold 5 million copies in the USA. Who Made Who was re-released in 2003 as part of the AC/DC remasters series.
